The IBM Wall incorporates an advanced reinforcement system featuring lay-off tie reinforcements, seamlessly connected horizontally at both the top and bottom to the precast unit tieback. This system utilizes PVC-coated, heavily hot-dipped galvanized wire mesh, ensuring superior durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term structural integrity.
The IBM Wall backfill requires a nominal amount of self-draining granular material to facilitate vertical and horizontal drainage systems, with the remainder utilizing locally sourced, suitable earth materials.
