The Cofferdam wall is meticulously engineered for effective riverbank revetment. This advanced system features 3-D reinforced concrete panels, each measuring 2.4 meters by 1.0 meters, and incorporates two precast cylinder rings.

Cofferdam wall reinforcement element is designed with hybrid reinforcement, positioned horizontally at the top and bottom of the standard panel tiebacks, ensuring enhanced structural stability. It incorporates PVC-coated hot-dip galvanized (HGI) wire mesh and high-tensile hot-dip galvanized tendons anchored with a robust anchor block, providing superior strength and corrosion resistance. Vertical anchor tiebacks utilize reinforced concrete (RC) members, installed within precast cylindrical housing rings and reinforced with rebar and concrete. This configuration provides essential support against lateral pressures, effectively counteracting the forces from retained materials or water.

The Cofferdam Wall backfill utilizes a nominal amount of self-draining granular material to facilitate vertical and horizontal drainage systems. The remaining fill consists of locally sourced, suitable earth materials, optimizing both cost efficiency and environmental sustainability. This method ensures effective drainage while minimizing material costs and reducing environmental impact.
